   I’ve seen some similarities between the two too. Twilight came first, but True Blood is better in my opinion.

   Both are about vampires,none are related to comics or animation. True Blood is proably better than Twilight though.

   True Blood came first. It’s based on the books by Charlaine Harris and those have been going longer than Twilight. I love Twilight to death, but I’ve been a fan of the Sookie series way longer. That said, I do see a lot of similarities between the two series.
